For all its toughness, glass can soon pick up markings. While water spots are quickly dealt with, the aftermath of grime and dust that have been vigorously wiped off a windscreen using a knackered, old wiper blade, can soon leave light scratches in the glass. This makes it all the more important to replace wipers at regular intervals and keep the washer bottle topped up with a decent screenwash solution.
