Last year AGCO announced plans to close the former Lely forage wagon facility in Waldstetten and transfer production to the baler plant in Wolfenbüttel (AGCO acquired both sites when it bought the Lely Group’s grassland division in 2017).

Since then, more than 20m has been invested to modernise Wolfenbüttel, which is also used to build Fendt and Massey Ferguson round balers and wrappers.

Up to 25 different loader wagon models can be assembled on the single assembly line.
