Following successful field tests, the Flex-Load pick-up is now fitted as standard on all Magnon forage wagons and optional on all other Strautmann models. The new unit will be on display on the Opico stand at LAMMA in January.
Suitable for all crop conditions, the design of the Flex-Load pick-up is said to minimise tine wear and breakage, due to easy tine replacement without having to remove the pick-up bands.
The tines are made from a flexible polyurethane plastic that adapts to ground undulations. This is claimed to significantly reduce the likelihood of soil and stone contamination into the cutting unit.
