The pictures are not very revealing, but the hood on the Fendt Rogator 900 looks familiar. That is because it comes from a 900 Vario tractor, and the VisioPlus cab is normally found on a 700 Vario.
Other Fendt touches on the new five model range include the multifunction joystick and armrest and Varioterminal 10.4 from the Rogator 600 sprayer and Ideal combine.
Several years in development, and described as a new design from the ground up, the five Rogator 900 models are the 932, 934, 934H (high clearance), 937 and 937H. All take their power from a six-pot 8.4-litre AGCO Power engine (290 to 369hp) and the chassis on the H versions is hydraulically raised to a maximum ground clearance of 1.93m.
Other features include a variable engine fan with reversing function, pneumatic independent wheel suspension and the possibility to install a roof-mounted weather station.
It is also possible to convert the chassis from a sprayer to a fertiliser spreader. Changing is said to take no more than two hours. The liquid fertiliser tank has a maximum capacity of 3,400-4,900 litres (granular fertiliser up to 7,000 litres). Working widths are from 27 to 40m and 4ws results in a turning radius to just over 4.50m.
The Fendt Rogator 900 can be ordered in North America from October 2021 and will be delivered in May 2022. It will also be available in other markets, such as Canada, Australia, Russia and Ukraine. Track width if from 3.0 to 3.80m, but the overall width of 3.91 to 4.49m will limit its use in Europe.
