Rolling up to 100 tonnes of dry or moist maize an hour (80t/hr in crimped, moist cereals), the Finnish-made Murska 4000 is believed to be the highest capacity roller mill currently available in the UK and Ireland.
Joining the existing ranges of Murska and Korte grain processing equipment brought to the UK and Ireland by Kelvin Cave, the 8.5t 4000 uses four pairs of 1.0m-long rollers to roll or crimp a wide range of products with a moisture content of up to 45%.
Aimed at large farms and contractors, the pto-powered machine has a minimum tractor power requirement of 270hp.
The options list includes applicators to apply additives or minerals while grain is being processed. The width is 2.5m and the maximum unloading height of the elevator is 3.7m.
The 7.5m long belt conveyer should be plenty long enough for most situations, but optional lengths are available to increase this to 11.5m.
