The 300 Pro small drum and 400 Pro large drum maize headers are the latest offering from Kemper.
These have a number of new features to prevent cobs getting stuck between the drum as well as improved maintenance. A heavy duty kit which makes use of Hardox steel should extend the service life of the drum and skids.
The 400 Pro also benefits from the harder wearing steel on the pointer. The change in finger shape helps bring the stem more into the machine and is better suited to different row widths which is becoming more popular.
The side rail can also be adjusted left or right so it doesn’t not snag crop that is beyond the working width when harvesting across a slope.
The new headers will be on the Kemper stand at Agritechnica.
