Following on from the John Deere dealer shake-up in Scotland, HRN Tractors has been appointed a Kubota full-line dealer.
It will retail and service the agricultural range of tractors and implements from its six depots (Insch, Turriff, Kinloss, Muir of Ord, Caithness and Balbeggie). HRN will also have the Kubota groundcare and professional turf products for the region north of Dundee and the construction equipment line up for depots north of Perth.
“This appointment reinforces Kubota’s commitment to its customers and the market,” explains David Hart, managing director of Kubota UK. “As a full-line dealer, HRN Tractors will be in a strong position to make the future investments required in facilities, technology and staff, to actively support our customers across agricultural, groundcare and construction sectors.”
Earlier this year John Deere and HRN Tractors went their separate ways and the area was taken on by Netherton Tractors who in turn has just lost the Kverneland franchise.

One of the casualties of the announcement is Banff based CC Powell who took on the Kubota agri franchise in 2016. It is also understood New Holland agri dealer Ravenhill has been given notice by Kubota for the construction equipment franchise.
