Cooperation with Italian firm Moreni has resulted in Czech manufacturer Bednar adding power harrows to the portfolio.
Prompted by the popularity of power harrow drills with small farmers in countries such as France, Italy, Poland and the UK, Bednar’s first version is called the Kator.
Finished in the company’s familiar yellow and grey livery, a limited number of 3.0m (rigid) Q3000 and 6.0m (folding) HQ6000 machines will be available in France and Italy in July. The first UK and ROI deliveries are planned for the spring of 2022.
Sales director Jan Bednář says the company spent a lot of time searching for a suitable partner. “Moreni is a family-owned business, just like ours,” he comments. “The company listens to the requirements of its customers and has more than 100 years of experience with the production of agricultural machinery. This strategic cooperation will allow our sales network to better respond to the needs of both current and prospective customers.”
The Kator boosts the Bednar portfolio to over 40 machines.
