The new CR steel roller conditioner for Krone’s self-propelled mower is claimed to provide the ideal treatment in alfalfa.
Complementing the existing steel tine CV conditioner, the CR is offered in two variants; profiled plastic rollers and the new steel M-Rolls. The latter is recommended for very difficult conditions such as bulky leafy material or fields containing lots of stones.
The 25cm diameter steel rollers are individually driven, which says the company, processes large crop volumes and also allows the top roller to move up out of harm’s way to avoid foreign objects. Conditioning intensity can be adjusted in steps from the cab from 0.5mm-25mm roller spacing.
The cutting width of the 449hp Liebherr-powered Big M 450 CR is 9.90m, and the mowers fold to 3.0m (width) and 4.0m (height) for transport.
