Several tillage kit makers offer fully mounted, 3.0m tine cultivators for working stubbles shallow and deep. But what are the pros and cons of having those tines spread across two or three rows. Polish company Unia produces both two- and three-row designs, so we compared the pair doing a primary pass on oilseed rape and wheat stubble, working from just a few centimetres deep with a winged foot … to a depth of over 30cm with a narrow point.
