The Compact Solitair is being succeeded by the new DT version. With the exception of the coulters there isn’t too much carried over from the old range
Back in our 2020 cultivator drill group test, the Lemken drill did really well in the seed placement and distribution categories, although it was let down by its higher power requirement and overall weight. And we weren’t the only ones to notice these traits, as they’ve been addressed on the new Solitair DT (Disc Trailed) drill, which will start rolling out of the factory at Alpen towards the end of this year ahead of the 2023 season. The initial units will be 4.0m and 6.0m machines, but other widths, including a 9.0m version, are planned for next year.
