Kawasaki has, up until now, offered two model ranges that cover the extremes of the UTV sector: the entrylevel petrol Mule SX two-wheel drive, available from £6,079, or £700 more with four-wheel drive; and the big diesel Mule Pro-DX models. The latter are priced from £12,079 in two-seat form, the convertible four-seat Mule Pro-DXT weighing in at £13,279 in base trim (all prices ex VAT).
Slotting in between the diminutive SX and full size Pro-DX diesel in the Kawasaki UTV line-up, the Mule Pro-MX delivers up to 45hp (32.8kW) from its single-cylinder 695cc petrol engine. We got to drive one of the first machines in the UK
