There is an area near Brandenburg, Germany, where farms specialise in the growing of the various herbs, spices and plants required for the manufacturing of certain medicines. Arzeni and Gewürzpflanzen forms the link between growers and the processing industry, which along with thyme also processes herbs such as dill, marjoram and fennel.
