Horsch is hoping it has got its sums right as it plans to combine the FX and FM models into the GX. There
will be two versions of the trailed Terrano newcomer, which will be on display at Cereals
When complete, the Terrano GX will eventually replace the FX and FM trailed cultivators that rely on three and four rows of tines respectively. To make things easy to fathom, Horsch has given the GX a logical numbering system. Take the 5.4 GX featured here, for instance. The ‘5’ refers to the working width of 5.0m, and the ‘4’ indicates this machine has four rows of tines. These are on a 285mm spacing, while the three-row version has a greater stagger of 315mm. For now there are also 4.0m and 6.0m working widths available.
