Back in the autumn of 1994 New Holland introduced its new generation of foragers with the prefix FX. After operating one of the first FX 450 models, our impression is this is a modern machine that offers increased comfort in both handling and operation. It also provides much higher outputs than its predecessors. But much of the technology it contains remains unchanged. Although this provides tried and tested components, users expecting something radical will be disappointed
