Launched in 2008, the second-generation Stage IIIa Deutz-Fahr Agrotron K-series span 90 to 127hp, placing them in the ideal power bracket for smaller farm and livestock users. Although these tractors are not as numerous on the pre-owned market as models from more mainstream makers their use of well-established core components can make tractors a sound used choice, the more so if local dealer support is on hand
Such is tractor power inflation, models in the nominal 100-120hp power bracket are almost seen as ‘entry level’ these days and as such are strong sellers in the UK and Ireland. That said, many tractors in this sector are offered with a pretty much ‘bread and butter’ design and spec, with little to excite those looking for something with a little extra zing. Deutz-Fahr launched the first of its first Agrotron K series back in 2005 and with it offered buyers a tractor that was arguably more stylish and better specified than some of the more mainstream rivals.
