When it came to celebrate their 30th anniversary our German colleagues decided to do something special, and overhauled a Case IH Magnum 7120, the first ever tractor to undergo a profi test. The end goal was to have the finished tractor on display at Agritechnica. This is what it took to get it there
Back in 1989, profi magazine was born, with the first ever issue featuring a Case IH Magnum 7120 on the front cover, the subject of the tractor test in the 12/1989 issue. It is no surprise that this first generation of Magnum has achieved a special significance with the profi editorial team. So, a plan was afoot to find one of these 30-year old giants, give it some beauty treatment and get it on the profi stand at Agritechnica.
