REPORT: Bromwell Contractors, Warwickshire: Calling it a day. Twin brothers John and Jay Bromwell have decided it is time to retire from agri contracting and called in Cheffins to carry out the dispersal. The Warwickshire sale included a massive mix of kit including 11 John Deere tractors and four combines. Here is our pick of the sale day results.
Proving that they are still in demand regardless of hours were the two 2010, 7530s which were both in good order. This one had 15,750 hours and fetched £26,000, while the 12,635 hours on the other saw it achieve £29,500. Both had a front linkage, and 600/65 R28, 650/65 R42 tyres.
There were a trio of C670i HillMaster combines. This 2018 example had a Zürn Premium Flow 625P header, 800/65 R32 and 480/80 R26 tyres with 2,318 drum and 3,197 engine hours. It found a new home for £36,500. The other two were 2009 machines with the middle model (2,393/3,464 hours) making £36,000, while the furthest with 2,223/3,021 hours went for £32,500
