Zetor fans still without a year planner might like to know that the Czech tractor maker has a number of 12-page product calendars, plus, a smaller number of its popular limited edition versions available to buy.

The 500mm x 350mm and €7.80 costing product calendar illustrates a journey from the birth of one of its tractors on a computer, through the assembly and testing stages, to handing the key to its owner.

Ten of the pictures were taken inside or around the Brno plant, and the end result contains some nice assembly line and test station images. However, to my mind, the harvest picture taken for August and a Zetor tractor on snow ploughing duty in December are not in keeping with the rest of the format.

LIMITED EDITION 2023 CALENDAR

If you like limited edition calendars, then you will be aware that the Czech tractor maker has published some impressive versions since releasing the first one in 2009. Call me old-fashioned, but I still prefer the format of one picture per month that was used up until 2016 (final one was a stunning version to mark Zetor’s 70th anniversary).

Ever since, the limited edition calendar has been a four-pager with four main photographs. The first is for January, February and March, the second for April, May and June, and so on. While designed to celebrate women working in the countryside, the scantily clad models in the five main pictures (includes the cover) are certainly not dressed for working on a farm and the only place I am allowed to hang it up is in a corner of my office!

A Zetor tractor also features on all four pages and cover, and five more pictures are included on a bonus page at the end. As Zetor limited edition calendars go, I will not remember this 600mm x 400mm version as the best for creativity, but it is still good value at €15.60, and a must for collectors.

Available from Zetor dealers, the two calendars can also be purchased from the official e-shop.
