Remember the Pininfarina design concept on Zetor’s stand at the last Agritechnica in 2015? The technical details are under wraps, but the Czech tractor maker informs us that new shape will return to this year’s show in the form of the first commercial version.
Zetor is more forthcoming with two other new ranges it will bring to the Hannover Fairgrounds. It depends on the market, but the company reckons tractors below 80hp typically represent 10-30% of total sales, and the 40-70hp segment is one Zetor is after with the Utilix and Hortus.
Expanding the firm’s product portfolio to six ranges (13 tractors from 40 to 160hp), power to the Utilix HT 45 (43hp) and Utilix HT 55 (49hp), comes from a four-cylinder Stage IIIA block. The three-range hydrostatic transmission has a top speed of 30km/hr, and depending on spec the hydraulic system provides a total flow rate of 52 or 56lit/min. The four-cylinder Stage IIIB engine in the Hortus CL 65 and HS 65 peaks at 67hp. Both models have a 24fx24r mechanical transmission (HS equipped with a PowerShuttle). Maximum speed is 40km/hr and like the Utilix, the Hortus is equipped as standard with wet brakes and air-conditioning. The hydraulic system has a maximum flow rate of 60lit/min.
The new tractors can be ordered from the start of next year, with the first deliveries expected in March.
