Zetor is preparing to launch a new range of 80 to 120hp Proxima tractors. There are three spec levels – CL, GP and HS. The Proxima CL (80-100hp) models come with a basic mechanical 12+12 PowerShuttle transmission, with the option of a reduced speed 20+4 or 10+2 box. GP (80-110hp) tractors are fitted with a mechanical PowerShuttle transmission with two-stage PowerShift, while the HS spec (80-120hp) includes a three-stage PowerShift and hydraulic reverser. The 4-cylinder engine in the 80hp models complies with Stage IIIB emissions, while the block in the more powerful versions meets Stage IV. This employs the same system used in the Forterra, namely a combination of DOC, active DPF and SCR. The torque reserve in new models is up to 43%, and the AdBlue tank capacity on all models is 28 litres. The CL and GP fuel tanks have a capacity of 150 litres, and the Proxima HS 180 litres. In the cab there is a new dashboard layout and larger rear view mirrors are included. These latest Proximas will be officially launched at the end of this year, with the first deliveries expected on-farm early 2017.
