Next week’s Potato Europe will provide visitors with the first opportunity to see the second version of the Enduro four-row sieving harvester in action.

The Belgian manufacturer launched the self-propelled harvester at the end of 2020. Previewed three years later at Agritechnica 2023, the second generation Enduro will make its working debut at the French potato event configured for a row distance of four x 90cm.

Main features include the increased processing capacity thanks to the newly designed ring elevator. Dewulf says that the combination of the larger bag volume, higher running speed and improved product distribution have boosted the capacity by around 50%. The new exterior look is due mainly to the use of fewer covers, and the latest Enduro has a redesigned main frame, and a larger (820l) anthracite-coloured fuel tank.

There are two Scania engine options; the standard 450hp block and a 550hp unit. The more powerful version is aimed at users requiring extra power to work on hills or operate at faster harvesting speeds.

Some things have not changed. These include the continuously adjustable inclination angle (from 0 and 12°) on the cleaning modules. The Easy-Clean module fitted to the machine heading to Potato Europe will be useful on hilly land.

The 12.3m³ capacity of the two-part bunker is the same. Soo too is the ground pressure of the six-wheeled machine (maximum of 1.8kg/cm²).

Potato Europe will be held on a 22ha site in Villers-Saint Christophe (Aisne) on 11 and 12 September. The site is midway between Lille and Paris.
