With a working width of 13.34m and a power requirement of around 55hp, the 12-rotor C 1340 is the new top model in the Krone Vendro rotary tedder range.

The working width of the 12 x 1.5m diameter OptiTurn rotors (each with six tine arms) is 24cm wider than the KWT 1300 model it succeeds, and the new Vendro flagship comes standard with a reversible drawbar and 40mm towing eye for top and bottom hitching (optional K80 ball-head coupling or drawbar pendulum).

There are two versions. The Vendro C 1340 Plus comes with a two-point hitch including a mainspring as standard. Spreading angle is adjustable in four stages from 13 to 19 degrees, and working height is altered via a hand crank (hydraulic adjustment from the cab optional).

Other options include a hydraulic relief on the transport axle (standard on the Plus). Coming from the Vendro C 1120, this reduces the weight on the axle to avoid damaging the grassland when making tight turns.

Transport width/length are 2.99m and 6.05m, respectively. The standard transport tyres are 11.5/80-15.3 (15.0/55-17 option) and the new tedder weighs 2.6t.
