Flex Tank is the name of an inflatable slurry tanker concept developed by Dutch firm Vredo. Designed specifically for strict German road transport width regulations, the system is developed for the 32m³ VT7028-3.
Claimed as a world first, the novel design sees a 6m³ inflatable slurry bag fitted to the top of the 26m³ polyester tank. The 32m³ capacity is the same as the standard model, but the width of the tank is just 2.1m (standard model 2.6m). This reduces the transport width to 3m, even when 30m slurry application kit is folded to the sides, allowing it to travel on German roads without special paperwork.
