2014 was a good year in more ways than one for German slurry equipment specialist Vogelsang. For starters, the company’s goal to take its annual turnover through the €100 million mark is a step nearer following the 15% increase in last year’s revenues to €85 million. The company also opened an Austrian subsidiary (the 20th international outlet), while a new 4,500m² building was built at company HQ in Essen/Oldenburg. With a new production area on the ground floor, the second level provides around 2,200m² of additional office space and a staff canteen. The new building also contains an area to maintain and repair customer systems. This is the first time the company is able to perform pump and macerator maintenance and repairs without having to disassemble a tanker. In addition to providing longer service hours at Essen, a spare part emergency service is now available outside of normal working hours, including the weekend.
