Further internationalism and an expanded product range helped Vogelsang to grow its sales by 14% to around €105 million last year. The most recent new products include lighter aluminium-made housings and lobe cores for rotary lobe pumps in the VX Series, and an improved precision distributor of the DosiMat DMX.
Launched at Agritechnica, the new control unit on the DosiMat simplifies precision liquid manure spreading and the handling of dribble bar systems. Other new features include the flow performance monitor for measuring the flow of fertilisers, which can now be used on pneumatic drills and fertiliser application machinery. Keen to keep the momentum going, the company will launch more new products at the EuroTier livestock machinery show in November. “Our aim for 2018 is to tap into more international markets and achieve solid growth,” said managing director Harald Vogelsang.
Last year, the company expanding some of its existing sites, and added additional production facilities and subsidiaries in Russia, Brazil, Morocco, Dubai and Portugal. Staff numbers have risen to 900+ following the expansion of the subsidiary network and the incorporation of beba Technology into the Vogelsang Group last autumn.
