Vicon is looking to enter the medium segment of the market with the iXter A mounted sprayer range. Aimed at customers seeking a smaller and lighter, but professional sprayer, the new range is available with tank capacities of 800, 1000 and 1200 litres. Added to support the iXter B mounted sprayers, the iXter A is available with two different boom types (18-21m) – an aluminium spray boom with the Z-folding principle and a new generation of stronger and lighter steel booms. Main features of the newcomer are the lower weight, compared to the iXter B, and the company says ensuring the centre of gravity remains close to the tractor results in a good weight distribution, even when mounted to small tractors.
