The Venterra 2K hoes from Schmotzer will be shown by Amazone at the Cereals Event.
The deep under-frame clearance and increased lift-out height means it can be used in crops of up to 50 cm high, even when coming out of short work into the headland and using GPS SectionControl to lift out each tine element individually.
In working widths of 4.5m to 6.75m and able to cope with row widths from 450mm to 750mm the hoe can be used for maize and sugar beet as well as other row crop.
The Venterra 2K is guided between the rows using the Horus Pro camera system which is said to give precise guidance even at high forward speeds. Additional tools, such as row protectors and following harrows can be added. The parallelograms are equipped with maintenance-free bearings.
The KE 02 Rotamix rotary harrows from Amazone span working widths from 2.5m up to 4.0m for tractors from 150hp through to 240hp. The KE 6002-2 400 Rotamix folding rotary harrow is for tractors up to 400hp.
Along with the rest of the KE 02 models equipped with the Rotamix system, the KE 6002-2 400 has four tine carriers per metre working width across which the incoming power is distributed. The trailing tines produce a crumb structure, even on heavy soils.
