The new InLine version of the 6.0m Spirit 600C combination drill places fertiliser in the same row as the seed to provide it with a boost directly after drilling to shorten crop emergence times.
Complimenting the Nordic and Fix fertiliser application systems already offered in the Spirit range, the separated airflow on the InLine ensures fertiliser is distributed independently from the seed. The intensity of the airflow is adjustable.
Fertiliser is metered by the same Fenix electric system used for metering seed. Split cells in the rotor and an angled exit from the metering unit is said to ensure that all plants have access to the same amount of fertiliser.
