The Dutch Unimog importer surprised visitors to last week’s farm machinery with a top-of-the-range U 530 configured as a triple mower. Designed to highlight the flexibility of the 299hp vehicle, the combination has a cutting width of 8.7m, but wider widths are available. The Dutch importer reckons the concept could appeal to contractors required to travel long distances on the road. Price of the high-spec U530 on display (excludes the Krone mowers) is €220,000.
