The new C-Mix Ultra tine system for Amazone’s trailed Cenius and Ceus cultivators provides automatic hydraulic overload protection in challenging soils.
The trip force of the hydraulic cylinders fitted to each tine is infinitely adjustable up to 800kg and the break-back clearance is sufficient to maintain the desired working depth of up to 30cm.
Nitrogen accumulators dampen tine resetting and Amazone says adjusting the number of accumulators to the number of tines ensures that there is only a small pressure difference when several overload protection devices are activated simultaneously.
Stepless adjustment of the system is carried out from the front on the drawbar. The pressure gauge is also located here and can be monitored from the cab.
Available as an option alongside the C-Mix Super system, the C-Mix Ultra tine can be combined with the full range of C-Mix shares on the Cenius-2TX (4.0m to 8.0m) and Ceus-2TX (4.0m to 7.0m).
