Dutch mixer wagon manufacturer Trioliet has acquired one of the production sites of Polish tractor and agricultural machinery manufacturer Ursus.
The factory at Opalenica, near Poznan, has supplied Trioliet with mixer wagon frames and components for over 25 years and will continue to operate as Trioliet Polska.
The acquisition of the 7ha+ site includes several production halls with a total surface area of around 15,000m², production machinery and installations and the 85-strong workforce.
Described as a strategic step to improve the logistics process and realise further growth, Trioliet plans to build a new production hall in 2021 and anticipates taking on additional staff to increase production capacity over the next few years.
Ursus still has three other production plants, including the Lublin tractor facility.
