Dutch-made Roelama slurry applicators are now available in the UK through newly-appointed sole distributor Tramspread. These include trailing shoe machines with working widths up to 12.0m that can be used with an umbilical system or mounted to a tanker.
The line-up includes the Sleepflex Farmer in working widths of 6.4m, 7.2m, 8.0m and 8.8m, and the 12.0m Sleepflex for large farms and contractors.
Both can be specified with trailing shoes or cutting discs and have a vertical, three or five-part, hydraulic folding mechanism. The swinging arm prevents the drag hose from running underneath by angling it away from the machine.
The Sleepflex Farmer has adjustable wheels and 20cm row distance spacing. The 12.0m Sleepflex has fully electro-hydraulic steering. Two turning points on the swinging arm allow the operator to reverse in tight spaces without crossing the drag hose.
The options list includes section control and flow meters. The 12.0m model will be on the Tramspread stand at LAMMA in January.
