Massey Ferguson is using this week’s TechAgro machinery show in the Czech Republic to unveil two tractors in the completely new MF 6700 Global Series. Delivering maximum powers of 120hp in the MF 6712 and 130hp in the MF 6713, these are the largest, most powerful models in the company’s Global Series of straight-forward, all-purpose tractors from 75hp to 130hp sector. Joining the 100hp and 110hp, MF 5700 Series launched in February at the FIMA show in Spain, as well as the three models from 75hp to 95hp in the MF 4700 Series, the two new 6700 tractors, which are also equipped with cabs, are designed and built in Beauvais, France. With a 2.5m wheelbase and 5.2t linkage capacity, power comes from AGCO Power’s 4.4 litre, four-cylinder SCR Stage IV-compliant engine, and both 6700 tractors are equipped with a 12 x 12 synchronised mechanical transmission. This offers six gears in two ranges and a top speed of 40km/hr, and both models are compatible with the five largest models in MF’s 900 and 900X loader ranges. “The 6700 Series is the culmination of a significant investment in developing the Global Series, and the launch of these latest sub-130hp tractors is another strong step forward in our development of the MF brand,” says Campbell Scott, Massey Ferguson director marketing services Europe/Africa/Middle East.
