It is 55 years since Delvano produced its first self-propelled sprayer. To mark the occasion, the Belgian family business has given one of the current models, the ST20, an eye-catching black and yellow livery.
Based on the standard six-cylinder Deutz-powered model, the special edition model, which is fitted with the optional 5,000-litre (3,300 litres standard) tank and 33m boom, is finished with 55-year anniversary stickers, a curved LED bar at the front of the cab, air horns and extra lights.
If you would like to own one of the special edition ST20s then you will have to be quick because only five have been made and one of these has already been sold.
Delvano was founded in 1966. The company’s first self-propelled sprayer was the SafeTrac. Popular in the 1960s and 1970s, it was based on a converted Fordson tractor, equipped with a wooden tank and 20m boom.
