Increased accuracy and greater productivity are claimed for Ag Leader’s RightSpot. Offering individual spray nozzle control, the desired application rate and droplet size are said to be maintained over a wider range of forward speeds.
Controlled through the InCommand 1200 display, flow rate and pressure are controlled independently on up to 144 individual pulsing nozzles. Automatic shut-off at individual nozzle level reduces over application and turn compensation takes care of headlands and curves.
“With input costs and regulations rising, farmers will need to be taking a closer look at their sprayer and application technology,” comments John Howard, Ag Leader crop care product manager. “Adding nozzle-by-nozzle control to an existing sprayer provides immediate financial and agronomic benefits.”
