Some of the frames in the new Specsavers range of prescription safety glasses are made using plant-based raw materials.
Developed jointly with Stryder Eyewear, the injection moulded frames have adjustable temple tips with over-moulded soft parts for increased comfort. Various frames also include an indirect venting system and integrated side shields for improved visibility and reducing lens fogging.
All frames include adjustable metal-free nose pads, and over-moulded wire-core temples designed to fit any head size. Titanium frames are also available and the wide range of available colours includes black, grey, crystal, burgundy, green, and silver.
The new safety glasses are available in classic, specialist, and premium versions. Prices are €130, €160, and €190 respectively.
