Originally developed for fun, the French maker of the Swincar has received numerous requests from farmers to use the lightweight electric vehicle as a quieter alternative to an ATV. One of the big features of the 4wd/4ws 170kg vehicle is the pendulating chassis design, which ensures all four wheels are always in contact with the ground for maximum traction.
Located in the base of the vehicle, the batteries power the four electric wheels motors for around four hours at a constant speed of 25km/hr (max. speed 35km/hr). Recharging takes two hours. The Swincar has a wheelbase of 1.40m and can pull a trailer with a maximum payload of 100kg. Prices start from around €12,500.
