Called GSC (Generic Section Control), the universal system for drip hose booms, incorporators and injectors, also works with implements from other manufacturers provided they are mounted on a PG II Genesis slurry tanker with SlurryMaster 8000 terminal.

Said to be easy to install with a one plug connection, GSC works with up to 12 sections on any implement. Control is manually via the joystick on the SlurryMaster 8000, or automatically when combined with an ISObus compatible GPS system with section control. The width of individual sections is adjustable and it includes tramline shut-off control.

“We wanted a system that allows users of our Samson PG II Genesis series to do precise application from the tractor seat via SlurryMaster 8000 no matter what implement they choose for the application,” comments Niels Hagemann Haubjerg, product manager for slurry technology.

HPD (Hydraulic Power Drive) is designed to reduce slip in difficult conditions such as hilly terrain and wet soils. Providing additional traction on one of the tanker’s wheel sets (front axle is powered on twin-axle tankers/ middle one on triple-axle tankers), power is transmitted from the pto to a belt transmission.

HPD provides a power of 55kW and up to 125kW for 30 seconds in boost mode.

With the desired power entered into the SlurryMaster 8000 control system, the automatic system adjusts the speed of the wheel drive system to that of the tractor and the power consumption according to the conditions.
