Minimal maintenance, ease of use and high reliability are all claims made by Samson Agro for its new TG range of slurry tankers.

Sitting below the existing PG II series, which is flagged up as the ultimate implement carrier for professional users, the 18m³ and 20m³ capacity TG is for farms seeking a simple, high capacity tanker, with longer service intervals.

The focus during the development phase was not only to keep the weight of the tanker as low as possible but to limit the number of options. One of the few add-ons is a 3.8t capacity rear linkage.

Several different filling systems are available for the TG but the firm’s patented ejector vacuum pumping (up to 6,000lit/min filling capacity) system will be the main one. Creating a vacuum only in the ejector pipe system, and not in the rest of the slurry tanker, helps to reduce the weight, says Samson.

Heading to Agritechnica next month, the TG will be released in limited number in selected markets for the coming season.
