The exterior styling is not the only update to the Rostselmash 1370 unveiled at Agrosalon, recently. The 366hp Cummins QSL9 in the previous 1000 series flagship has been swapped for a Russian made block.
The slightly more powerful (371hp) 9.0l six-pot Russian Kamaz 689 Stage IIIa engine is mated to the same 16fx9r full powershift as the previous model, launched at the same Russian show in 2020. There is an automatic mode and the top speed is 40km/hr.
The Russian tractor manufacturer reckons that the revised 4.3m³ cab is one of the largest on the market. The front axle is suspended. With adjustable track width, the tractor can be booted with tyres from 270 to 710mm wide, allowing the tractor to be used in row crops.
There are no changes to the 208l/min hydraulics (284l/min option). Both front and rear PTO (540/1000) are available as options, and rear lift capacity remains at 7.8t.
Rostselmash sold its majority stake in Buhler Industries in 2023 to the Turkish tractor maker Basak, part of the Asko Holding, but the design of the new model still looks very much like a Versatile.
It is still not known if the other four models in the 1000 Series (1270, 1290, 1310, 1350) have received similar treatment. What we do know is that the first pre-series 1370s are to be further tested this year, and series production is planned for 2026.
