The X6 is the latest McCormick tractor to gain the Red Power treatment, which like the Stage V X5s, X7s and X8s is available with metallic red paintwork.
The Red Power X6s also come with black rims and a package of features, including the IFS suspended front axle, mechanically-suspended cab, air conditioning and electronic hitch.
Available for all three models in the series, X6.35 (110hp), X6.45 (119hp) and X6.55 (126hp), production started in September and a couple of Red Power X6.55s are already in the UK with dealers.
Powered by Deutz 3.6- litre 4-cylinder Stage V common rail engines, the two transmission options are a hydraulic reverse shuttle 12+12 or 36+12 with HML (optional creeper for both). Rear lift capacity is 6.0t served by a 66lit/min open centre hydraulic circuit. Other options include factory-fitted preparation for ISObus, satellite guidance, and McCormick’s fleet management system.
“We have had metallic red on the X7 (all premium models) and X8 for over two years now,” comments UK & Ireland business development director Ben Agar of AgriArgo UK. “Now also available on X5 and X6 models, as we move into Stage V across more ranges each one will have a Red Power package option.”
