The twin meter (TM) control box with GPS speed sensor now available for the Stocks Ag Fan Jet Duo spinning disc granular applicator, allows precise control of the two contra-rotating Fan Jet Plus applicators.

Running in tandem, and commonly mounted to self-propelled sprayers or tractor front linkages, the two applicators are typically used to broadcast slug pellets up to a maximum width of 36.0m.

As well as application rate and forward speed, the TM’s 4.3” colour touchscreen displays both section and headland control and with a precision farming map can also apply variable rates.

Users can switch between four main run screens; home, parameters, details and mapping. Pressing the disc speed icon on the home screen reduces the disc speed and spread width of one or both applicators.

The GPS speed sensor allows the TM controller to automatically reduce the rate to match the disc speed for a consistent application rate.

Headland control enables the operator to define the boundary with the first pass around the field using the mapping facility. If the spread width crosses an area/section that has already had product applied then the application rate automatically switches off.

TM software allows the operator to create and store product application information, including the calibration settings for each new product, and the job creation and export feature make it possible to record the application history of each field task.

Prices start from precisely £8,345.40 for a Fan Jet Duo 65 (Duo is available with twin 65 or 130-litre hoppers) with TM control box and GPS speed sensor.
