Flagged up as fast and accurate, the new V8000 (8.0m) and V9000 (9.0m) trailed Terrasem models are described as high-output machines capable of working at speeds of up to 12km/hr.
Replacing the previous Terrasem C8 and C9 models, the new configuration of all tillage tools on the new V (vertically folding) versions ensures that they both track in a straight line.
Main changes include mounting the disc harrow, fertiliser coulters (DZ-machine) and dual disc seed coulters in an X configuration and all tillage tools are secured with sealed bearings.
Suitable for use on a wide variety of soil types and conditions, the disc harrow as the leading tillage tool is said to be ideal for mulch drilling. The wavy disc option is designed to loosen soil in strips while the classic version (no tillage tools) is for drilling into prepared seedbeds.
Equipped standard with two metering systems, the capacity of the seed hopper on both models is 5,600 litres. Seed rates (1.5-420kg) are adjusted from the cab.
It is possible to vary between the application of seed, seed with fertiliser, two different mixtures of seed, additional components such as microgranules or a companion crop using the Terrasem Z models with fertiliser feature.
The two updated Terrasems are Agrirouter-compatible.
