The new-look versions of the pneumatic mulch seed drill not only combine tillage, consolidation, fertiliser application and drilling in a single machine, but are able to process up to three components simultaneously.
With the D (fertiliser) Z (twin seed) models it is possible to drill seed only, seed with fertiliser and additional components such as micro-granulates, companion crops or a second seed. These can all be deposited at different depths.
The Terrasem retains the Dual Disc coulter system and the standard row spacing is 12.5cm (16.7cm option). Two different metering systems are available. The single hopper machines, 3000D to V6000D and Classic models without tillage tools and fertiliser application, are equipped with injector metering. All Terrasem Z models are equipped with a pressurised split hopper. The fixed 60:40 partition can also be used just for seed.
Other updates include a new configuration of sealed bearing tillage tools to ensure that the drill works in a straight line. The disc harrow and seed coulters are mounted in an X configuration.
Suitable for mulch and direct mulch drilling as well as on ploughed land, and available in working widths from 3.0-6.0m, the new models will be available from November 2021.
