The ceremonial spade has gone into the ground to mark the start of a €25 million investment to reorganise the production layout at Pöttinger headquarters in Grieskirchen, Austria. Due for completion sometime summer 2017, the result will be an additional 12,000sq.m. of manufacturing space, and a 40% larger grassland machine production area. Pöttinger has made numerous investments in its manufacturing plants during recent years to support future growth and allow the company to remain competitive on the international markets. This latest investment at company HQ follows previous expansion projects at the seed drill plant in Bernburg (Germany) and the machinery plant in Vodnany (Czech Republic).
