Samco was showing this genius system for increasing the track width of a loading shovel’s front wheels by 300mm on either side.

Each wheel slides on five dowels with a hand pump used to move the rim in and out.

The wider track width increases stability on a silage clamp but has the benefit that the overall width can be reduced to make the loading shovel more road friendly.
