Teagle believes it has a solution for Irish farmers wanting a machine capable of fine chopping straw for a diet feeder and then bed stock with longer material, with the 8555 Dual Chop. One of the key differences to the 8550 it replaces is the screen can be simply pulled out to switch between its different roles and with the blades out of play there is also the option to feed wet material such as silage.
There is a choice of screens 30, 40 or 50mm or an 80x50mm slotted screen.
