A customised Valtra Unlimited N Series tractor has set off on a summer-long, nationwide tour of agricultural shows and country events across the UK, with a mission to raise as much money as possible for the Breast Cancer Care charity.

The unmissable 155hp pink N154 started its five-month journey at the North Somerset Show, near Bristol, last weekend, and will end at a charity event at Ruyton X1 Towns, between Shrewsbury and the Welsh border, at the end of September. A total of 23 locations are on the itinerary, and the tractor can be seen at Grassland & Muck (24-25 May), Shropshire show (27 May), Suffolk show (31 May/June 1), Royal Cornwall show (8-10 June), Royal Highland show (22-25 June), Norfolk show (28-29 June), Great Yorkshire show (11-13 July), Royal Welsh show (24-27 July), and the Dorset show (2-3 September).

“We took the view that using a Valtra Unlimited in pink livery would boost the attention we are trying to attract to Breast Cancer Care and the amazing work that it does around the country,” said Valtra advertising sales & promotions manager Richard Miller.

Each day, more than 140 women in the UK are diagnosed with breast cancer, a figure that currently multiplies up to 50,000 annually. But it is predicted that, along current trends, the yearly total is likely to have reached 57,000 by 2030. Donations can be made through a Justgiving website – www.justgiving.com/ValtraPinkTractor and at the end of its nationwide tour of events, the tractor will be offered for sale by auction, with the profit realised going to the charity.
