It is not the news any of us want to hear, but Agritechnica 2022, which should have taken place from February 27 to March 5, has been cancelled. The deteriorating pandemic situation and current official regulations are to blame. The next Agritechnica will take place from 12 to 18 November, 2023.

“With regret, we have observed that, following the deteriorating pandemic situation in recent weeks and the resulting current official regulations, a justified exceptional situation has arisen, under which the trouble-free execution of Agritechnica is no longer possible,” comments CEO Reinhard Grandke of the German Agricultural Society (DLG), which organises the show together with the VDMA Agricultural Machinery Association.

“We deeply regret the cancellation. Many of our exhibitors, partners, visitors and members, as well as the entire DLG team, have already invested in extensive preparations. Our focus is now on preparing Agritechnica 2023 as well as the other national and international DLG events and trade fairs that are scheduled for next year.”

As things currently stand, the French SIMA, Italian EIMA, Danish Agromek and German EuroTier will be the first international machinery shows. All four are planned for November 2022.
